This past weekend I had the joy of spending some time with my two adorable nephews and my brother Ryan!! It's hard living so far away, but such a blessing when I get to spend time with them. They have grown so much since the last time I saw them. Seth is saying so many words and is full of energy. Dylan is becoming such a stellar student and still enjoys snuggling. It was so fun watching and listening to Seth and all of his big words that he is saying. He is finally talking and its so fun to listen to what he has to say. A few cute things he says are "Bon" for Aunt Bonnie, "not nice", "me go airplane too", "me tired", and "banjo" for Grandma Jo.

It made my day!!!
In my afternoon Kindergarten class I have 6 students who speak Marshallese. They are from the Marshall Islands and are as cute as can be. Last week they all began singing in their language, and although it was loud and distracting, it was too cute to ask then to stop. During center time I called them over and asked them to sing for me while I recorded it, and they thought it was the greatest thing. :) These are the moments that I am reminded why I am a teacher! :) Enjoy!

Decorating Day!
After 9.5 months of living in our apartment and struggling with how to decorate, we finally did work!! :) My parents came here for the weekend and while dad was at pharmacy meetings, mom, Aaron, and I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and spent way too much money. Then, Aaron and I had planned to take a personal day off work today, which led to more money spending and more decorating. Our main goal was to get more decorations in our spare bedroom and living room and here are a few of the things that we came up with! :)

Showering the bride-to-be!
This weekend I had the honor of hosting a bridal shower for one of my best friends and maid of honor Leslie. :) It was a fun day of celebrating her before she becomes Mrs. Vancil. My four college roommates were all able to come to Spokane for it, so it was a fun weekend with the girls.
Not only was it a weekend to celebrate Leslie, but we found out that Kelly (in black) got engaged 2 days prior. So, its official... all four of us girls are either married or engaged. WOW! :) Lots to celebrate among us! Can't wait for Kurt and Leslie's wedding in approximately one month.
